Why This Lifestyle?
For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)

At Clothed with Power, we understand that there is a battle for the soul. We understand that we live in a world that is constantly vying for our attention, while the Bible instructs to keep our minds set on spiritual things and not earthly things (Colossians 3:2). We know that every human being has to deal with the war between flesh and spirit, and the enemy would gladly use the pleasures of the world to distract you from your focus on building your relationship with God.

But what drives our relationship with God everyday is this revelation:

The benefits and blessings that flow from a life that is bestowed with divine power far outweigh anything the world could ever offer us.

We see in Ephesians 1:19 that the exceeding greatness of His power is to us-ward” who believe. So, our decision to believe in God and our relationship with Him is what introduces us to this divine, multi-faceted power. And it is this very power that has gifted us that has “bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness.”

This includes:

• Protection (Psalm 91)
• Healing (1 Peter 2:24)
• Supply (Philippians 4:19)
• Wisdom (James 1:5)
• Peace (John 16:33)
• Joy (Psalm 16:11)

So, in our humble opinion, the question is not “why Clothed with Power?” The question is why would you want to live any other way.
